Dia Internacional da PAZ
UNICEF Internacional coordena esta atividade
Convidamos sua
escola para esta atividade no Dia Internacional da PAZ, 21 de setembro
de 2004. Esse dia foi criado 22 anos atrás, com a finalidade de
concentrar esforços entre as Nações Unidas, todos
os seus membros e todos os cantos do mundo, para destacarmos a
importância dos ideais da paz, que devem ser seguidos por todas
as nações e povos.
Inscricões:
não são necessárias inscrições para
participar.
Atividades do projeto:
21
de setembro de 2004 e a preparação para as
atividades.
Tecnologias utilizadas:
e-mail, listas de discussão, ICQ, fóruns, etc..
Objetivos: Este dia oferece
uma oportunidade importante para que as escolas tomem parte em um
evento mundial, de muita importância para todos. Devemos planejar
atividades para esse dia. Como sugestão podemoz citar:
* Observe um minuto do silêncio, exatamente ao meio-dia (12h),
* Plante uma árvore,
* Programe uma música ou uma apresentação com um
tema da paz,
* Participe de oficinas sobre a paz e a situação atual no
mundo,
* Soe um sino para a paz
Mande fotos, comentários, URLs, BLOGs sobre essas atividades
para a coordenação do Grupo PATNET, para que possamos
expor em nossa página sobre o projeto.
Áreas do
currículo: Estudos Sociais, Geografia, História,
Artes, Tecnologia da Informação e Interesses da
Comunidade..
Número de classes no projeto: sem limite
Alunos participantes:
qualquer idade
Here is an example we received from a teacher in the Czech
Republic:
"...students will bring their own small bells and together with
the school
bell will ring them three times. Then a discussion will follow.
The discussion
will be focused on the importance of peace and the contribution
of our
country to the rest of the world. We will stress the values of
solidarity,
tolerance, and understanding among cultures."
And another from a teacher in Romania:
"We'll keep a moment of silence for peace. An exhibition of
drawings with
the theme of peace will be organized and students from different
levels will
talk about peace in Balkans, in Europe and all over the world. A
questionnaire
will be given to pupils to find out their opinions about what
chance they
think peace has in a world of violence and wars. The results will
be discussed
with the students."
Two International Day of Peace celebrations will take place at
the UN: one
for youth on 17 September and one on 21 September for the ringing
of the UN
Peace Bell. Both events will be webcast on Cyberschoolbus. More
details on the
how to access the webcasts will be posted in a couple weeks.
